George has been involved in a variety of musical activities throughout his life.  Four years ago, he packed in his career as an engineer and became a full-time musician/instructor/singer/songwriter/poet and storyteller.

He first started playing the harmonica as a small boy, and has been playing off and on ever since.  Seven years ago he started playing some accompaniments with a community choir, which led him into a deeper involvement with the instrument.

He has been a teacher on the Harpscool team for three years now, and also gives private lessons and teaches at summer schools.

He also teaches drumming and tuned percussion with Keynsham Cavaliers Youth Marching band, and has taught at the British Youth Band Association Annual Festival.   He runs Fun with Drums workshops for a variety of groups from pre-school to age concern.
